sharonMeet: Sharon Woolley, Channel Sales Director

Background: Sharon has more than 30 years experience in the channel, working for such companies as Seagate, Computer Associates, Traveling Software, Ocean Isle Software, Entre' Computer Center, Command Software, DOS Center, Corporate Software and others.

History: Worked with SpectorSoft during its early years and rejoined the company approximately 18 months ago.

Mission and Beliefs: "My goal is to recruit and grow SpectorSoft's newly named Passport Partner Program with new reseller segments, while continuing to focus on the increased satisfaction of the existing SpectorSoft Partner base. The exciting thing about having a career that runs the gamut from reseller to vendor is that I understand what each segment needs to be successful and that the best channel relationships are symbiotic."

LynetteMeet: Lynette Stevens, Technical Support Manager

Background: Lynette worked for Unisys Corporation in Colorado for 10 years as a System Administrator. After a plant closure, she moved to sunny Florida to be the IT Manager of the Citrus Division of Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc.

History: Lynette has been the Technical Support Manager at SpectorSoft for almost 2 years. In this role, Lynette spends most of her days working with customers, Support Technicians, Quality, and Development on issues with SpectorSoft products.

xChangeCMP XChange
SpectorSoft exhibited at the 13th annual CMP XChange Solution Providers conference in Los Angeles, where Spector 360 was presented to more than 200 resellers, either in the security boardroom, the Solutions Pavilion, or in one-on-one meetings. These channel only XChange conferences provide vendors and Solution Providers with face-to-face opportunities to meet in an intimate setting over the course of two to three days. During this time, SpectorSoft presented its programs and solutions to potential new Partners, and also redefined relationships with existing Partners.

Education: FETC and TCEA
Education technology, including Internet safety and keeping students on-task, took center stage in Florida and Texas this winter. Teachers, administrators and district technology experts gathered at FETC 2008 in Orlando, Florida and TCEA in Austin, Texas to learn about the latest in digital collaboration, Web 2.0 and network security. Hundreds of interested attendees stopped by SpectorSoft's booths to learn how Spector 360 can help them fight the growing use of proxy servers by students to bypass school filters and firewalls. A growing trend of interest is Spector 360's ability to provide monitoring and filtering for student and staff laptops used in school and then taken off the campus network as part of 1-to-1 laptop programs.
